Tidal Surge
Once I opened Tidal Surge, I was completely unprepared for the quietly beautiful tale of soul mates understand each other, and of the outside forces working to pull them apart because of their own insecurities. Tidal Surge reminds me so much of everyday life, where the forces wrought by those around us can do so much damage. Kathleen C Sprayberry.
The story has an intricate plot, which Ms. Stanley handles deftly. The protagonist, Liliha is a mother trying to heal her relationship with her daughter, Kaelyn. The nutshell version is, Kaelyn finds an ancient bracelet which is too tempting not to try on. However, the bracelet gives her the ability to see through other people’s eyes and be in their heads. She knows when they are about to do something horrible and instead of stopping them, she ‘helps’ them in their evil deeds. The powerful bracelet leads Kaelyn down a dark path and she is unable to break free of its grip. Jeanne Bannon.
